Location
Monetier-les-Bains is at an altitude of 1500m in the Vallée de la Guisane,at the foot of the Col du Lauteret and 12km from the Napoleonic fortress of Briancon, in the Haute-Alpes department of Provence.

Turin-        Easyjet(Luton), Ryanair(Stansted )-BA-Gtwick1.5-2hrs transfer
Grenoble-  Easyjet(Luton, Gatwick, Bristol). Monarch , Ryanair(Stansted,Dublin)-1.5-2hrs.
Geneva-    Newcastle, Liverpool, Luton etc. 3-3.5hrs

Regular services from Dover to Calais. Modern ships with good eating facilities. Monetier is about a 10 hour drive from the Channel ports.

EUROTUNNEL

Three trains an hour transport you and your car underneath the English Channel in less than 35 minutes. Very convenient, and great for pet owners. Look out for Tesco Clubcard deals, which you can use to pay for part or all of your fare, or a frequent traveller account for regular visitors to Europe.

BY RAIL
Eurostar to Paris, then sleeper to Briancon from Paris Austerlitz, arriving 8.30 am each day. Transfer to Monetier by taxi or local bus service which runs regularly. Alternatively take the TGV to Oulx in Italy at the bottom of the Col de Montgenevre, and transfer by bus or taxi.
