LL wrote "The view from the main room is to die for, and is only 5 minutes walk to the lifts. The patio is a sun trap on sunny days.
The skiing is great, the local restaurants in the village are good, and the on site pool and sauna make a perfect end to a day on the slopes.
A look at the "House Book" shows how much previous guests have thought of the place."
LF wrote " I can't fault anything the location was superb for the ski lifts and the apartment was the best that we have stayed in on a ski holiday. The smallest thing had been thought of from all the kitchen equipment to the herbs and fresh coffee in the fridge. The wifi was an added bonus and the spa and hamman were a welcome retreat after a hard day on the slopes.
Shops and Restaurants
There is a small supermarket in the centre of Monetier village (5mins walk), several bakeries and patisseries, and a butchers/traiteur which also has prepared meals, and a selection of groceries and fresh local cheeses. Market day is Friday, and there are stalls selling cheeses and sausages. Futher afield in Briancon there are two large supermarkets, and smaller food shops, as well as a large market on Wednesdays.
There are a number of ski shops in the village, all selling a selection of equipment. We can offer up to 30% discount at some of these, details will be provided with your arrival instructions.
There are several bars, restaurants and creperies around the village, serving pizzas, fondues, and othe traditional alpine food.
There is often live music at the Alpen bar, and a happy hour from 5-6pm.
