Location
Monetier-les-Bains is at an altitude of 1500m in the Vallée de la Guisane,at the foot of the Col du Lauteret and 12km from the Napoleonic fortress of Briancon.

BY FERRY
Seafrance
Regular services from Dover to Calais. Modern ships with good eating facilities. Monetier is about a 9 hours drive from the Channel ports. A list of suitable hotels for stopping on your journey can be found on our information site Serre Chevalier Apartment

BY RAIL
Eurostar to Paris, then sleeper to Briancon from Paris Austerlitz, arriving 8.30 am each day. Transfer to Monetier by taxi (36 euros) or local bus service which runs regularly. Alternatively take the TGV to Oulx in Italy at the bottom of the Col de Montgenevre, and transfer by bus or taxi. For details go to SNCF
