Col du Lauteret
A few minutes drive away you will find the walled town of Briancon. Of significant military importance throughout history (the Roman legions were garrisoned there), you can visit the fortress designed by the architect Vauban, or explore the pedestrian streets within the walls. Look up and you will see many sundials painted on the already colourful walls. See our page on BRIANCON for more details
