There are three ski schools in Monetier-les-Bains, and all offer a variety of group and private lessons for all abilities. Booking is essential at peak times.

• New Generation Serre Chevalier are  based in Monetier-les-Bains. Visit their site and contact them to discuss your requirements. Gavin Crosby will be managing a small team of highly qualified BASI instructors next winter.  We can highly recommend their instruction.
  
  
• Ecole du Ski Internationale are based in the village, and offer ski and snowboards lessons for all ages.

There are several ski and board shops in the village which all offer a good selection of skis and boards for hire. Some telephone numbers are listed below if you wish to pre-book.
 NEW !!!  Ski hire can be arranged at a 20% discount at Aoraki which is at the foot of the pistes, just a short walk from the apartment. We will provide more details with our arrival instructions

More information can be found on the SERRE CHEVALIER tourist office website. New for 2008,a new nursery area at Aravet, increased  snowmaking and a new 6 seater chairlift in the Chantemerle sector.   A family pass for 2 adults and 2 children under 18 is available (580 euros for 6 days).
